Do you travel a lot?
Not enough! If I could, I'd spend all my time between planes, trains and cars, going to see what's beautiful elsewhere.
And there's so much!
Wonders, surprises, colours, stories (we always come back to that...).
Travelling is a constant source of inspiration.
It's no coincidence that the Trois.1 saga takes place between the UK (London, Wales, Scotland) and the USA (Los Angeles, New York), with scenes in Capri or Cannes... And it's no coincidence that the setting for Shadow Police is Paris!
I even indulged in a bit of authorial prankishness when, in volume 5 of the saga, during a scene in the forest of Brocéliande, my trio from Trois.1 crossed paths with... the Cat from Shadow Police - quite simply because Merlin's tomb was the ideal location!
It was also after a trip to Peru that I came up with the idea for the short story ‘The Walker’.
What about the photos?
The years ‘that didn't exist’ (2020-2021) could have been harder than they actually were if I hadn't dived back into the thousands (literally) of photos taken during my escapes.
So it was hard to select those in the panorama below...
